A Third Politcal (Internet) Party?
Americans Elect, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, is looking to take the old idea of democratic representation and imbibe it with new tools. Register on their website then you choose the issues that matter most, you choose the candidate, and you can help register Americans Elect as a political party. As the site says:

You choose the issues.
You choose the candidates.
You nominate the ticket.
And the winner will be on the 2012 ballot in every state.
Not sure where this will go in the long run, but it seems to guarantee that the 2012 election is going to be banana-nut crunching crazy.Â
